Going to the hospital during this time is (to state the obvious) not a fun experience.
Yesterday I stepped outside into my garden to get my rabbits in from their hutch. I miss my stepping and went over on my ankle.
This isn’t the first time I have done this and my medical records say that I have a weakness in my ankles. Anyway, that’s not the point of this post.
I want to thank all NHS staff and key workers. The doctors I worked with yesterday were very nice and had an ongoing conversation with me about the current situation.
She pointed out that it’s great that supermarkets are opening for an hour for the elderly and NHS staff but what happens when she’s on shift? She can’t get the necessarily she’s needs because she’s working at the times that are allocated for her to go to the shops.
She also said that people are using the early opening times of supermarkets to their advantage. If you are one of these people PLEASE STOP. It’s not right. this hour is allowed so that those who need it can get the right things that they need. You rushing in to the shops just because they are open is not helping anyone. Not even yourself.
Again, thank you for the work everyone is doing. This time will pass so long as people work together ❤
